We are just starting a new project and want to come up with a easy way install a list of common plugins that we've been using. What's better than writing a plugin to install other plugins? With the help of the highline gem, I wrote a simple rake task that read in a list of plugins from YAML file. Install:

./script/plugin install http://plugin-install.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/plugin_install
Usage:

rake plugin_install
It'll read the "plugins.yml" file copied to your /config directory and lets you choose Yes/No to install each one. plugins.yml example:
